Terms of Service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the applicable app-store usage rules.

Do not misuse the App: do not interfere with its operation, use it in violation of applicable law or others' rights, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits that activity.

Beam automatically processes technical diagnostics and usage events to discover and support TV models, investigate compatibility failures, maintain reliability, secure the service, and improve the App, as described in the Privacy Policy. Technical diagnostic upload and sharing initialize as ON. You can turn off future diagnostic upload and sharing in Settings without losing the App's core remote-control functionality. Bounded local diagnostic capture continues on your device while diagnostic upload and sharing remain disabled. If you re-enable diagnostic upload and sharing, bounded local diagnostics still retained on your device may be uploaded under the Privacy Policy. Diagnostics are used only for service operation, security, debugging, reliability, compatibility, and improvement. They do not authorize Beam to collect pairing secrets, authentication credentials, keyboard or TV text content, voice/audio content, or unrelated network traffic. The Privacy Policy governs the data categories, legal bases, service providers, retention, anonymization, account-deletion treatment, and your applicable rights.

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple or Google and auto-renew until cancelled. Manage or cancel renewal in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings; deleting the App or your Beam account does not cancel a subscription. Prices and offers may change with notice as permitted by the applicable store and law.

Payments and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; request refunds through the applicable store. EU/UK consumers may have a 14-day withdrawal right for digital purchases, which may end once digital content is supplied with the consumer's consent, as administered by the store.

Non-subscribers may be required to view an advertisement to use certain features. Ad availability is not guaranteed. Beam records bounded outcomes for the ads it shows, including whether an ad was requested, filled, displayed, clicked, or closed, whether a rewarded ad was offered, accepted, dismissed, or completed, and the revenue reported for an impression, for operational diagnosis and to measure ad performance. When you are signed in, those outcomes may be linked to your verified Beam account for a limited period. Advertising data and privacy choices are described in the Privacy Policy.

Beam depends on compatible television firmware, enabled LAN-control settings, the phone and TV being reachable on the same local network, and manufacturer protocols that Beam does not control. Beam does not guarantee compatibility with every TV brand, model, firmware version, or network configuration, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Except for rights that cannot be excluded by law, the App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beam is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

We may suspend or terminate access for a material violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time and may delete your Beam account in the App. Account deletion does not cancel a store subscription.

If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Beam regarding the App. You may not assign them; Beam may assign them to a successor. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Neither party is liable for delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence. Turkish consumers may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or consumer courts.

We may update these Terms and publish a new version in the App. Material changes require acceptance through the App's legal-version flow before continued use.
